I had the honor to plan and photograph this Brazilian destination wedding in Georgetown, SC at the beautiful South Island Plantation. They had family and guests coming from Brazil and all parts of the US; they all had a blast!
Grasyane had the privilege of having her daughter and her mother share this special day with her and it was very emotional. The “getting ready moments” are my favorite part of the day, when I see moms helping their daughters on such a special day of their lives it melts my heart.
Grasyane, Alex and I spent a lot of time planning their dream wedding in great detail.. And, ohhhhh it was dreamy and elegant! We had the advantage of working with my personally selected, and best professionals in the Myrtle Beach Wedding Industry. Every chance I get to work with Peggy Boodro from You.Only Better Make Up Artistry (for make up) and Bethany Fontana Hair for hair, its a “win win” day. They are never late, their work is outstanding and they make everyone feel so comfortable and beautiful.
The dusty blue, blush and gold pallet color was a perfect color choice for the spring wedding. Every single time I work with Rob, from RSG Event Designs he exceeds my expectation! Oh man… The full tall centerpieces with eucalyptus hanging from the gold pillars were so beautiful. Her bouquet, with peonies and poppies was one of the most beautiful ones I have ever photographed! With the venue’s southern, low country charm; the wooden
chairs and dusty blue tablecloths and the most elegant tableware ~ is absolutely classic. The greenery hanging from the chandelier gave it an elegant touch. Carleton from MC Sound and Light made his magic again with up lighting inside the ballroom and cascading lights on the outside balcony. The majestic cake was from Buttercream Cakes and Catering. The elegant greenery on the chandelier was echoed in the cakes design. The thing I like most about Brazilian weddings ~ is the sweet table. Its is something extraordinary. All the homemade chocolate sweets and different flavors; carefully wrapped in paper flowers, is such a delight to the eye and to the tastebuds.
Alex wore an elegant blue suit and was so happy to share this important day with his son as well. Of all the things the bride chose, his only request for the wedding was the white vintage Rolls Royce, and Robert Gerber was there again, with one of the most stunning cars ever!
Their wedding day was one of the most beautiful southern days, the sun was shining, the sky was blue, the temperature perfect and a delicious breeze to keep everything cool. Grasyane and Alex wanted a classic and romantic atmosphere where their family and guests could enjoy a beautiful afternoon with them. And they had it!
